Bless Groups
We have been graciously blessed by God in Jesus Christ, and we are called to bless the world in his name.
That's why the focus of our groups at Oliver Creek is to bless the world!
To bless means serving the good of others in word and deed, in the name of Jesus, for the glory of God, but what does that look like in our Bless Groups? It looks like community, equipping, and serving!
Community.
The purpose of these groups is to help you connect relationally and grow spiritually.
Joining a Bless Group is a great way to connect at Oliver Creek. Bless Groups are small groups of all ages who bless the world together. Through our Bless Groups, we are able to connect both to our peer groups, as well as inter-generationally and develop relationships that will last a life time!
Equip.
We want to equip each member to join God's mission to bless all nations.
We seek to give member of our Bless Groups the tools and opportunities to learn their spiritual gifts and live them out, as well as dive more deeply into what it means to live the missional call of the Gospel. We want our Church not to be a stagnant building, but a very active and loving community of Jesus followers!
Serve.
Bless Groups are small groups of all ages who bless the world together.
Groups will go out into homes, nearby organizations, assisted living facilities, schools, neighborhoods, and other places where we have an opportunity to serve and to point to Jesus. For us it looks like visiting, gratitude, caring, justice, serving, and helping in many other ways.
