THE ART OF WAR: Spiritual Warfare Reading Plan

Are you ready for battle? Here’s a reading plan to help you consider how to put on the armor of God to fight the spiritual war before us.

Make 15 minutes a day to go deeper. Here are some key questions to ask as you reflect on the Word:

1. What does this passage teach about God and Satan?

2. What does this passage teach about us?

3. How will I obey this passage this week?

4. Which verse will I memorize this week?

5. Where do I need to study deeper?

God at War

Spiritual warfare is all over the Story of God. From the opening pages of Scripture to the very end, God wages war against forces of evil. There are only two sides: Christ or the enemy.

March 3: Genesis 3:1-5, 14-15

March 4: Exodus 6:2-8; 12:12-13

March 5: Daniel 10:10-21

The Adversary

The real enemy may not be who you think. The Adversary is a powerful spiritual being now bent on deception and destruction. He is a sinister snake who twists the truth.

The Victory

At the cross of Jesus, God defeated the powers of evil. Jesus endured the worst Satan could offer, and conquered sin and death. Jesus is the Victor. He’s the Savior and the Judge.
